Use line 161 in the daytime
Aena lists line 161 as the daytime airport service to Playa Blanca; the board below shows today’s departures. It boards at T1 and then T2.

Use late routes only at their published times
Line 61 has one late T1 departure, shown on the board below. Intercity’s timetable shows line 162 running from Playa Blanca via the airport to Arrecife, so its late calls at T1 are heading for Arrecife, although Aena’s page lists them under destination Playa Blanca. Do not count on line 162 to reach Playa Blanca.

Choose Playa Blanca Estación or Muelle
The 161 and 61 stop lists include Estación de Playa Blanca and Muelle de Playa Blanca; choose the one nearest your accommodation.
Know the route difference
Line 61 runs through Uga. Line 162 is described by Intercity as starting from Playa Blanca via Yaiza, Puerto Calero, Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife, while 161 is the airport service via Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Yaiza.
Keep bags out of the aisle
Intercity asks passengers to put suitcases in the luggage hold where available and keep an eye on their belongings. Pushchairs must be folded for the hold.
Travelling with a wheelchair
Intercity's rules give a wheelchair priority over a pushchair on board, but its pages do not say which line 161 or 162-D departures use an accessible vehicle. Before you fly, ask Intercity about the exact departures you plan, out and back (+34 928 811 522 or [email protected]), and book Aena's barrier-free assistance at least 48 hours ahead; Aena's help ends at the terminal meeting point. Which bus goes from Lanzarote Airport to Playa Blanca?
Line 161 is the regular daytime route, from T1 and then T2 to Playa Blanca's station and quay, and line 162-D is a separate direct service that the board on this page includes. Line 61 adds one late departure from T1.

From Playa Blanca, line 162 starts at Estación de Playa Blanca and also calls at Muelle de Playa Blanca for its late airport journeys. For the daytime return, use line 161 northbound from the Estación or the Muelle, or line 162-D, which leaves the Estación, calls at the Muelle and reaches T1 and T2 on its way to Arrecife, as the board below shows.
