                                                        Leave time between the ferry arrival and your line 9 return rather than assuming a guaranteed connection.

                                                      Outing: La Graciosa for the day

                                                      Leg 1: Line 9 from Arrecife to the Muelle de Órzola, an early row on this page's board. The ferry to La Graciosa is a separate ticket and timetable from its operators, so pick a sailing that leaves a real margin after the bus arrives, not the tight one. Visit: Caleta de Sebo and the island's sand tracks, between your outward sailing and the return sailing you chose before you left. Return: A ferry back to Órzola, then a line 9 row from the Muelle on the Return tab; read the last one before you sail, because nothing else leaves the quay for Arrecife. Plan B: If the sea or the sailings do not line up, stay on the mainland: the rows also give line 9's time at Arrieta, for La Garita's calm water (its tourism sheet marks it not for families), and the quay's returns still bring you home.
