Intercity lines 6, 60 and 62 connect Arrecife and Playa Blanca with different intermediate stops. Line 6 includes Puerto del Carmen, 60 runs via Tías, Mácher, Uga and Yaiza, and 62 is the semi-direct Tías option.

The practical part

Here’s how to get there.

  1. Pick the corridor, not only the endpoint

Choose line 6 for Puerto del Carmen, 60 for the Mácher–Uga–Yaiza pattern, or 62 for its semi-direct Tías route.

  2. Use the station or harbour stop

The official pages list Estación de Playa Blanca and Muelle de Playa Blanca; choose the one that suits your onward walk.

  3. Plan the matching return

Use the same route comparison for the return, because each line has a different stop pattern.

Three routes, different places

The common Arrecife–Playa Blanca endpoint does not make the three lines interchangeable. The operator identifies distinct intermediate corridors for each.

Playa Honda has restrictions

Line 60 identifies some Playa Honda stops as drop-off only and limits certain Arrecife stops for trips whose final destination is Playa Honda. Read those rules before using it for a short local trip.

The other half of the plan

And the way back.

From Playa Blanca, choose the northbound route by the intermediate places you need and confirm whether you start at Estación or Muelle.
